No. Botta Medical Aesthetics & Wellness does not accept insurance. All services provided at BMAW are self-pay, and we do not bill private health insurance or Medicare.

Your initial THRIVE consultation includes a comprehensive one-hour conversation with Dr. Joseph Botta and members of the THRIVE team. We review your health history, previous weight-loss experiences, goals, lifestyle, and relevant medical information. We then explain the program and discuss an individualized path forward.
THRIVE consultations are generally available on Thursdays between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m.
Yes. THRIVE is an education-based, medically guided weight-management program, and medication is not required. Nutrition guidance, meal timing, movement, mindset, accountability, and sustainable lifestyle changes are the foundations of the program.
Medication, including GLP-1 therapy, may be incorporated when medically appropriate, but it is only one available tool. Your medical history, needs, and goals will be reviewed during your consultation.
Yes. Medical pedicures can be especially helpful for people living with diabetes, older adults, individuals with limited mobility, and anyone who has difficulty safely caring for their own feet and nails.
Our medical pedicures are provided by licensed nurses who are Certified Foot Care Specialists through the American Foot Care Nurses Association. Please tell our team about diabetes, circulation concerns, wounds, infections, or other relevant medical conditions when scheduling so we can determine whether our service is appropriate for your needs.
