Our feet carry us through every stage of life, yet they are often one of the most overlooked parts of our health and self-care.

Routine nail and foot care can become difficult because of age, limited mobility, vision changes, thickened nails, tender feet, or simply difficulty reaching the feet safely.

At Botta Medical Aesthetics & Wellness, medical foot and nail care is provided by nurses with specialized training in foot care. Our goal is to provide gentle, thorough care that helps you stay comfortable, mobile, and confident about the health of your feet.

What Happens During Your Visit?

Your visit begins with an assessment of your feet, nails, and lower legs. We will ask about any concerns you are experiencing and look for changes that may require additional medical evaluation.

Treatment may include:

  • Trimming, shaping, and smoothing toenails
  • Care of thickened or difficult-to-manage nails
  • Gentle reduction of callused areas when appropriate
  • Care of corns and areas of pressure when within the scope of our service
  • Cleaning and smoothing around the nails
  • Education about foot and nail care between visits
  • Recommendations for follow-up based on your individual needs

Our approach is intentionally gentle, thorough, and unhurried.

More Than a Cosmetic Pedicure

Medical foot and nail care is different from a traditional salon pedicure.

Our focus is not polish or cosmetic pampering. We focus on safe nail care, the condition of the feet and nails, comfort, education, and identifying changes that may need additional attention.

For clients who have difficulty caring for their own feet safely, regular professional foot care also provides an opportunity for a trained nurse to notice changes that might otherwise be missed.

When We May Recommend Additional Medical Care

Some foot conditions require evaluation or treatment beyond the scope of a routine foot-care visit.

If we identify a wound, significant infection, concerning skin change, severe ingrown nail, circulation concern, or another condition that may require medical diagnosis or treatment, we may recommend that you see your primary care provider, podiatrist, dermatologist, or another appropriate medical professional.

Our priority is to provide care that is safe and appropriate for each individual.

New to BMAW Foot Care?

Unlike most BMAW services, medical pedicures do not require a separate consultation appointment.

Your first visit begins with an assessment so we can review your health history, evaluate your feet and nails, discuss your concerns, and determine the most appropriate plan for ongoing care.

Your treatment is completed during that same visit.

Once you are established with us, return visits may be scheduled at intervals based on your individual needs.

Gentle Care. Professional Attention. No Judgment.

Whether you have difficulty managing your own toenails, feel self-conscious about the appearance of your feet, or simply want professional help keeping them comfortable and well cared for, you are welcome here.

Our nurses care for feet every day. There is no reason to feel embarrassed or apologetic about yours.
