Skin Classic by RN FACES is a precise, non-laser treatment designed to address minor skin irregularities on the surface of the skin. Using direct high-frequency technology and a very fine probe, the treatment targets the individual area while minimizing disruption to the surrounding skin.
What Can Skin Classic Treat?
Depending on the individual concern and its location, Skin Classic may be used for:
- Skin tags
- Milia, the small firm white bumps that can develop beneath the surface of the skin
- Cherry angiomas, the small bright-red spots that commonly appear with age
- Sebaceous hyperplasia, small flesh-colored or yellowish bumps caused by enlarged oil glands
- Seborrheic keratoses, certain benign raised or textured growths that become more common with age
- Small visible facial capillaries, sometimes referred to as broken capillaries or telangiectasia
Not every bump, spot, or skin growth should be treated cosmetically. Part of your evaluation is determining whether Skin Classic is an appropriate option for the area that concerns you.
How Does Skin Classic Work?
Skin Classic uses direct high-frequency energy delivered through a very fine probe.
The treatment is extremely precise and works only on the targeted area. Depending on the type of skin irregularity being treated, the energy causes the unwanted tissue to dehydrate or coagulate so that the area can naturally heal and shed.
Skin Classic is not a laser, and treatment is generally very quick.
What Does the Treatment Feel Like?
Most Skin Classic treatments involve a brief sensation that may feel like a tiny pinprick, light heat, or a small static-electricity sensation.
The length of your appointment will depend on the number and type of areas being treated.

Skin Classic is intended for selected minor skin irregularities. It is not used to diagnose suspicious skin lesions or replace evaluation by a dermatologist or other medical professional.
If an area has features that concern us, falls outside the scope of treatment, or requires a medical diagnosis before proceeding, we will recommend evaluation by your primary care provider, dermatologist, or another appropriate medical professional.
