At Botta Medical Aesthetics & Wellness, we use the Cutera Xeo laser platform for several different skin and aesthetic concerns.
Laser treatment is not one-size-fits-all. Different settings and techniques are used depending on what we are treating, your skin, and your individual goals.
You do not need to know which laser treatment you need before coming to see us. We will evaluate your concern and help determine whether laser—or another treatment available at BMAW—may be appropriate.
Laser Genesis
Laser Genesis is a non-ablative 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser treatment that gently heats the skin without removing the surface layer.
It may be used for concerns such as diffuse redness, uneven skin texture, certain acne-related concerns, and other age-related changes in the skin.
Laser Hair Reduction
Laser hair reduction uses targeted laser energy to reduce unwanted hair over time.
Because hair grows in cycles, treatment is generally performed as a series. The number and timing of treatments depend on the area being treated, hair characteristics, skin type, and individual response.

Redness & Spider Veins
The Cutera Xeo 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser may be used for selected visible facial vessels, spider veins, certain leg veins, rosacea, and areas of persistent redness.
Not every visible vessel is appropriate for cosmetic laser treatment, which is why evaluation comes first.

Laser Treatment for Acne
For appropriate clients, Laser Genesis may be one part of an individualized acne treatment plan.
At BMAW, acne care may also include professional Environ skin care and Environ Cool Peel treatments depending on the type of breakout, condition of the skin, and individual goals.
Which Laser Treatment Is Right for You?
You do not need to decide before your appointment.
Your consultation gives us time to evaluate what is bothering you, review relevant health and treatment history, discuss your goals, and determine whether laser treatment—or another option—makes the most sense.
Sometimes laser is the right choice. Sometimes it isn't.
Our goal is to recommend the treatment that is appropriate for you, rather than simply treating everyone with the same technology.
